Filter Optimization Software
We offer unique filter optimization engines that work in conjunction with many popular RF/microwave design tools and with some EM simulation tools. Our optimizers consistently find an exact equal ripple response in the filter passband. We can optimize single bandpass filters, diplexers and multiplexers. Unlike general purpose optimizers, our optimizers realize the exact bandwidth that you specifiy and they find all the reflection zeros in the passband defined by the filter order. This is all made possible by decades of research and practical filter design experience.

Equal Ripple Optimization for AWR Microwave Offiice
Equal Ripple Optimization for AWR Microwave Office (EQR_OPT_MWO) is a specialized engine for RF/microwave filter optimization. It will optimize single bandpass filters, diplexers and multiplexers. It can optimize any filter that can be defined in the AWR design environment. It can also be used to port tune S-parameter files imported from any EM simulator. Unlike many general purpose optimizers, EQR_OPT_MWO finds an exact equal ripple response. General purpose optimizers often fail to find all the reflection zeros in the passband, particularly for higher order filters.

Equal Ripple Optimization for Mician uWave Wizard
Equal Ripple Optimization for Mician uWave Wizard (EQR_OPT_MWW) is designed to supplement the optimizers provided in uWave Wizard. In will optimize single bandpass filters, diplexers and multiplexers to an exact equal ripple response. For filters that can be described with only mode matching models the optimization is quite fast. It is possible to include some 2D or 3D FEM models in the filter optimization as well.
